Behind the Door: What Really Goes on Inside an Abortion Clinic (Part 2)

When we last left off with our look behind the doors of death at “A Woman’s World Medical Center” in Part One of this series,  the investigator from the Agency for Health Care Administration was hot on the trail of the mysterious man named “Lab Tech” who despite not actually being employed by the clinic, was in charge of sterilizing instruments, collecting and examining the aborted baby remains, and carrying patients to the recovery room after their abortion was complete (translation: after their child was killed).  Although “Lab Tech” is never actually named in the report, it is the well-educated guess of this writer that he is none other than the owner’s husband – Mr. Arnold Guerrero.

Arnold has been observed at this death mill engaged in various tasks from cutting the lawn, taking out the trash, yelling at the pro-lifers and swiping literature out of their hands, and perhaps his most sinister task of all, picking up the abortionist from a top-secret location (aka the Wal-Mart parking lot located 4 miles down the road) and driving him under the cover of a sheet into the death mill garage.

He’s got quite a load on his plate for someone who is not mentioned anywhere in the clinic’s personnel files.

But enough about Arnold, there’s much more to uncover in this most recent statement of deficiencies at “A Woman’s World Medical Center”.  We turn our attention to asking the obvious question:  Just who else roams the halls with “Lab Tech” tending to patients who are boldly exercising their right to choose (death)?  A careful look at the personnel files reveals one such employee (Employee #1: presumed to be Candace Dye – the owner/administrator) who claims to hold a certificate entitled “Successfully Completing a Course in the Operation of Ultrasound Equipment” dated 9/9/2010 but does not indicate any other significant details such as the length of the course or even the content of the training.  Maybe that’s not such a big deal til you realize she is actually performing ultrasounds on patients, determining gestational age and the cost of the procedure (translation: how much $ goes into her bank account for the successful killing of a child).  Aside from her natural, perhaps God-given talent at performing ultrasounds without need for formal training, her personnel file indicates that Candace is equally adept at training others in Rh Typing, serum HCG testing, and hemoglobin testing.  All this, without any evidence whatsoever of lab or phlebotomy training!  Her expertise does not stop there though, Candace is also an assistant in the “procedure room” (translation:death chamber) and in the “recovery room” (translation: dumping ground for women who have just had their children killed).  Ultrasounds, lab tests, abortion procedures, and recovery monitoring!  All this natural talent in one woman!

Is there more? You betcha!  Employee #2 presumed to be Shannon – daughter of Candace – also attended the infamous “Course in the Operation of Ultrasound Equipment” on 9/9/2010 and guess what… “successfully completed” it too!  Whew!  Shannon remains at least one step ahead of her mom though, because she did provide proof of phlebotomy training.  Well, kinda, sorta.  She did complete a 3 credit course in 1998 titled, “Basic Concepts of Phlebotomy” which has to count for something, right?! Wrong.  In the State of Florida, a 90 hour (3-6 month course) is required. Let’s hope that Shannon inherited some of her mom’s medical talents when it comes to drawing blood.

After a mind-blowing glance at these qualifications of the staff, the investigator dared to travel even deeper into the muddy waters at “A Woman’s World”. During this long, tedious (and I imagine painful) interview, the esteemed administrator and death mill owner confirmed that the staff perform the ultrasounds ONLY to determine the appropriate service charge for killing the pre-born child.  This concession to limit the use of staff-performed ultrasounds was made LAST YEAR when the AHCA investigated and determined that the staff was not qualified to perform ultrasounds and that the physician should be performing the ultrasounds.  Presuming good will and a truthful adherence to their plan of correction from LAST YEAR, the investigator looked for proof that the physician was performing ultrasounds.  The administrator confirmed that each file would hold three ultrasound photos: one performed by staff ONLY to determine procedure (aka killing) cost, one performed by physician prior to the abortion, and one performed by physician after the procedure.  The investigator sat down with some sample records to confirm the presence of the three photos and lo and behold…only two photos appear on each file! Hmmm… where could that third photo be?  One can only wonder at the sophisticated interrogation techniques employed by the AHCA investigator who ultimately was successful in eliciting the truth out of the administrator who conceded that yes, in fact, they had been skipping the physician ultrasound and using the staff-performed ultrasound instead.  Despite submitting a plan of correction LAST YEAR and promising to adhere to the guidelines, this clinic administrator continued to operate her clinic in VIOLATION of the State of Florida laws for a full year before getting caught.

My guess? She barely blinked an eye when confronted with her deceit and lies.  Like all abortionists, Candace carries an official Sacred Cow Membership Card which labels her as too highly regarded to be criticized and fully immune from all punishment. Well… all earthly punishments anyway.
